Not just a fad...

It will be easy to criticize the "green" movement of being just a fad. Maybe in part because it is not a new idea, but one that is gaining momentum very rapidly among the 20 and 30 somethings. (Feel free to quote my ramblings as pure fact).

In this regard, I stand as an antidisestablishmentarian. That is, (in true form of misusing the word) I am against those who are against things just because of their popularity. Take that Starbuck's haters!!

Anyway, the real reason of this post, is in comment to Adam's post. I echo his thoughts, and suggest composting as a cool way for us Gilbert-ites to begin to practice what we preach. Click the link, start fertilizing, reduce waste!

I wanted to compost soo bad! And since Gilbert gives you everything you need, FOR FREE, I was stoked. So I get it, and I get outside. Only to realize that our crazy landlord make a concrete jungle of our backyard and we can't do it unless there is soil. UGH. So definitely at our next house. Bummed for now!!! But good luck if you decide to compost :o)
