22 Acres for me...and damn proud of that!
I take 11 acres-- but its probably only that low because I work at home and "carpool" with two little girls everywhere-- I'm not sure that riding with a baby and toddler should be considered carpooling... but I'll still use the carpool lane.
Okay, so right after finding my "acreage" I went to the grocery store, and with the environment on my mind, I was kind of shocked at so many of the bad-- though small-- choices I make every time I shop. Do I really need the big bag of little bags of carrots? I can probably manage putting a handful of carrots on a plate when I want some. I've never considered buying the large container of yogurt before. (you mean I have to scoop some into a BOWL?) And do I really need to put my three oranges in a bag (which the cashier will put into another bag when I buy them)? It was really eye-opening...maybe I can actually manage to downsize an acre or two.
Yeah, we're affecting the environment negatively no matter what we do in this culture. The extent to which we do so however is a make-up of our everyday choices.

Thanks for that input Rodrigo. No, really, thank you. Personally, I'm rocking 22 acres - repruh-zentin 4.9 planets yo! Some might say I'm a bit un-green, I just think there needs to be less people. 4.9 times less :).
And how do you propose to reduce our peeps by 4.9 times?
Missles, lots and lots of missles. I could attach several of them to the front of my car, you know, to do my part.
